Hi Every one,
I have decided to develop my knowledge in researching the reasons and causes for the behaviour that during adolescence years students at my dance school tend to leave ballet classes to join other forms of dance. hopefullyi will develop enough knowledge to know what action can be taken to improve the attendance. I want to research, discuss and explore issues that are effecting their decision to change from classical ballet. I will be looking at the marking criteria within the examination board, questionnaires, workshop and interviewing a ballet teacher and also education dance. In order to understand effectively the causes for the decline within ballet I need to also research the wider context of teenagers focusing on lifestyle and motivation.
